MLB.tv app on ipad via wifi

I am attempting to use the MLB at bat app and watch video on the ipad over a wifi connection, however the app is trying to check for my location and says location cannot be found. The app works fine on the ipod (of course its getting connection over 3g), and even my pc can get a successful location check via the same wifi. Yes location check is turned on for the app in settings.

Any tips?
