Which stylus is best?

Can anyone please advise me on which stylus is best to use with an ipad/ipad 2.
I would like to be able to use it to take notes in lectures.
Thank you,
John

Tell you which is the best? No, not really - that comes down to a pesonal decision/preference. There are a number on the market that all work well.

I have a Pogo sketch that I'm reasonably pleased with. Bought it primarily because it was not too expensive, and also available at the Apple store when I was there.

I'm sure you'll get other recommendations.

I have one by Boxwave and one by Griffin. They seem identical to me other than the fact the Boxwave came with a lanyard. They both work fine.

Keep in mind that any stylus you buy for the iPad will have a rather large, soft, rubber tip. The hard plastic ones that worked for the old Palm type devices won't work. It's certainly possible to take notes with them but it does take a bit of getting used to. You'll probably need to try different note taking apps to find one that works well for you.

I would suggest one the length of a real ink pen for more comfortable writing. The Pogo Sketch is barely 8 cm long and I find it a little on the short side. It is not as comfortable in my hand as I would like.

A good note taking app should offer you the ability to adjust the size of the pentip onscreen from a fine line to a thick crayon, so do not worry about the chunkiness of the stylus tip required for the iPad.

Most styluses are the same but the TruGlide stylus is the only one i've seen that doesnt have a rubber tip. it has a microfiber, silk like tip that honestly makes it waaaaaaaayyyyyyy better an more accurate than anything out there. also, the tip is permenant so you dont have to keep buying rubber nibs! gooood god i hate that.

anyhow TruGlide stylus by LYNKtec. search for it on amazon or go to thier website.
