How to delete a mailbox from my Ipad, or make a new mailbox

My Mailboxes on my I pad are different from those I have on my Mac. About 2 years ago, i got a new email address so am not sure if that is why they are not syncing up. I would like to be able to delete the mailboxes on my I pad and have them the same as those I have on my Mac, but am not sure how to do this. I have synced up through I tunes, with no luck....thanks!

If you want to delete an email account then you go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select the one(s) you don't want and the press 'Delete Account' on the pop-up that appears - you can add accounts from the same settings screen. But if you want to delete boxes within an account then you need to login to your account via a browser and remove them that way.
