Ipod DCIM folder shows nothing even with all...

Please for the love of god... Can someone help me!? After being stupid i del all my music when i re installed windows tonight and when i plug in my ipod to the new itunes it locks up. so i tried to click on the ipod its self to copy the music over (yes i did show all files and folders) in the DCIM folder it reads "0" and nothing is inside the folder.

It also shows i have 5gb left to use out of 16gb ipod. so there is stuff on there it just wont let me see it? or sync? it to itunes? PLEASE any help would be freaking great!

The iPod Touch does not have a disk mode. The DCIM folder only contains photo/videos that were taken or saved to the iPod. To view/move music from the iPod see:

Thank you for your post. I have downloaded some of the software and tried it but it seems that none of them can even see the ipod when i plug it in. windows dose but not any of the programs.... Unless im missing something i assume im screwed?!
