Ringtones

I have a little sound i downloaded as an mp3. Converted to m4r as the procedure says. It now is seen in the system as a ringtone...but i can't drop it into the ringtone file in itunes. any ideas?

iMac intel core duo, MacBook Pro 2Ghz Intel core duo, iPhone 4, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

I suggest you use a better software that converts to all kinds of audio & video formats. Apple doesn't support any kind of software that's out there, so it will not really work. If you're using an iPhone, better yet, download an app like "ringtomes" & this will convert any song you have in your iPhone music library to a ringtone (if that song supports it)... hope this helps. This is what I'm using 🙂
