iPhone 4 hdmi link not mirroring - why?

Does anybody understand or know as to why the iPhone 4 doesn't mirror like the iPad 2 when using the the new hdmi connector?

Good fuzzy grief. Yes, all 2010 devices can USE the cable, but as the above poster said, the cable working with a device, and providing a feature does not mean the SAME THING.

Not really. Two different things.


The APPS themselves do, because the DEVELOPERS have designed their app to be designed to support TV out. The iOS does not, because Apple didn't design any iOS except the iPad 2 to support this feature.


Certain iOS apps mirroring or not mirroring has nothing to do wtih Apple. It's the dev who chooses this.


The entire iOS mirroring is Apple's choice.
