Hi,
How could I determine the dpi of a pdf file (images)

from the printer software? I think I have nothing related to dpi when I print.
I have several pdf I would like to print, some of them are of poor quality but if know the right size of them for having them printed in dpi 300 it would be great. There isn't a way to know this?

Sorry when I read you were looking for dpi I assumed it was an image file.

A pdf file doesn't have a dpi. The dpi would come into play wen you printed the file and then that would be set from the printer software.

Open the file in Preview. In preview go to *Tools->Show Inspector* The first tab of the Inspector *General Info* show the dpi for the file.
