Keychain export - can it be done?

I've got a problem keychain on one Mac. I'd like to export a working keychain from another Mac and import to the problem Mac. However, export is grayed out. There are quite a few old posts on this topic but nothing was resolved that I can find. Does anyone know if the keychain can be exported? If not, what about just copying from working Mac to problem Mac keychain?

Transfer the keychain file from the other Mac to your Keychains folder. In Keychain Access, select File > Add Keychain and choose the file. It will then be added to the list and you should be able to unlock it with the password. You can then transfer items from it, but it will be a slow process because you have to authorize KA to access each one.
