Keychain

I recently inherited a macbook pro. I was able to log in as the administrator, but I do not know the keychain password, and I was not able to change it to a new one. Can I just trash the utility and try to down load it again? from a backup disc. The back up disc I have is not an Apple original, it is a copy.

Any sugestions.

I am having a similar problem- it doesn't help that I don't really understand the entire concept of the keychain and mostly want it gone because it's a pain in my ***. I'm trying to reset my keychain password right now because it says it's wrong, but it says something about being unable to obtain the correct authorization? So does that mean my account password is wrong? I'm on the adminstrative account...
