Hi All

just received a card with footage that came in with a DCIM folder and a blank VIO FOLDER.

Cant get it to work in log and transfer or sony xdcm transfer

Help !

Try MPEG Streamclip.. is this source footage from a DSLR? Then you need to transcode it to ProRes before you edit with it.

Select the DCIM folder, right click and "Get Info". This will confirm if there's even any footage in there. If there's no video footage or pictures the folder size will be really small say 64k.

Can you see any files in the folder anywhere?

Also if you have iPhoto try and see if it can Import anything off the card? I found iPhoto can see a lot of different formats.
