I downloaded two shows on my iPad, and they do not appear in the video app. Where are they? Any good ideas?
You need to set your shows to Sync with your Pad, or drag them onto it in iTunes
For everything vides/TVshow related I use Buzz Player - handles absolutely any file format, any container - far better than the inbuilt Videos app
Um.. These were show purchased and downloaded onto the iPad. After they download, I can't find them and they do not transfer over to my MacBook when I click on that to happen during sync...
You can try these things.
Firs thing to try is simply reboot your iPad. Hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to power down. Then press the sleep button again until the Apple logo appears and the iPad restarts. Look and see if the shows are now in the Video app.
Open iTunes on your iPad and tap on Downloads in the lower right corner. If the download didn't complete, you can resume it from there.
Launch iTunes on your Mac. Click on iTunes Store on the left side. Click on Account under the Quick Links heading. Enter your password when prompted. About halfway down on the right side, click on Purchase History. See if the purchases showed up in your account.
See if any of these steps help you find the videos.
Rebooting made my TV rentals appear in the Video app.
When you click on the Videos tab, there's a tab at the top of the screen.
Switch from Movies to TV shows. Voila.
If you have the same problem as I did, I figured out the solution (god **** wasted time all morning for this).
Found the Solution. Right-click every TV show you want, click Get Info, and add in Season number (and Show (name) if it's not already filled) under the Video Tab. Also, if the title of the video file isn't enough to put the shows in order, add in the Episode #.
This new change is stupid. I have several hundred videos to fix now.
