IMAP Gmail, disable threading

Hi, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to disable the threading/conversation feature that turns up in the mail program for gmail accounts. I turned off the conversation option in my online gmail settings but they're still grouped in my mail inbox.

Any ideas?

Macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

In Mail, try going to the View menu option and then uncheck 'Organize by Thread'. HTH.

THANK YOU!!!! It was driving me nuts...... and everytime I filed an email away into a folder I had created it dragged others with it because they were part of the thread.
