Iphone deleted messages

As i sent a picture message to a contact, my iphone 4 froze, the apple logo came up and it seems to have rest itself making me add my asscode and reload my messages again.
however, going into my messages folder i find that all my messages have been deleted.

what happened?

and can i get them back 😟

i have turned the phone on ad off but that has not helped. everything else is in place and still on the phone but the messages 😐

the very same thing happened to me last night!!! now i feel sick since most of these messages are very important thus me keeping them..please help!! 😢

i don't have a backup because i am stupidly a mac user and recently bought a new mac and can't work out how to make my stupid iPhone sync to the new mac without wiping itself.

eff this stupid excuse for a phone i'm going back to a blackberry! 😟 😟 😟
