TV at the gym....want to tune in with my ipod via the internet

I want to be able to listen to the TVs at the gym when I work out. The TVs are set for odd stations. Is there an app that will let me "tune" into a station that isnt an actual station? The gym has internet access.

The name of the company that provides this service for the gym is BV Entertainment.

Thanks.

"My friend has a nano and can tune into the TV signal."

Yes, because it has an FM receiver.

"I have a touch and cant. How fair is that? "

Perfectly fair. There has never been a claim that an ipod touch has an FM receiver. No other ipod does either.

" Is there an app that's an FM tuner?"

NO... An FM tuner is hardare. An app wouldn't add hardware to the pod.

I have the exact same problem.
I'm trying to tune to the FM stations associated with TV's in the gym.

I have an iPod Nana 6th generation with the built-in FM receiver.

The FM receiver picks up normal FM radio stations (scanned by the Nano), BUT... when I set the the specific FM settings for the specific TV's (there are 3 of them), nothing but static!

I purchased the nano specifically for use at the gym to receive the TV sound via the FM receiver.

Distance? This should NOT be an issue. I'm within 10 to 15 feet of the TV.

Ideas?

Fixes?
