FLAC Files with iTunes?

I recently received a TON of live recordings in FLAC files that I would really like to add to my iTunes library and listen to. But, I can't afford to buy something as expensive as Roxio's Toast. Is there a inexpensive or free way to play these FLAC files through iTunes?

I have my library on my Macbook Pro but would really like to be able to play these songs through my AppleTV and on my iPhone as well!

Can anyone help me out? Is there a solution for me?
