Why can't the iPhone 4 stream bluetooth audio to any device?

Why is that I can't stream audio from my iPhone 4 via bluetooth to my car stereo?

It works with Blackberrys and Nokias but not the iPhnoe.

I thought this would work via bluetooth and not just using the Airplay icon which doesn't appear even when my phone is paired with the stereo. It takes and makes calls via the unit but won't stream audio.

All I want to do is listen to my music in my car without leads.

It requires A2DP. You may be able to connect to more than 1 bluetooth device at a time, but A2DP will only lock on to the first device it connects to in any given session. Works just fine in my 2011 Optima, but ONLY if I am NOT connected to my Jawbone Icon when the connection to the car goes live. If I'm connected to the Jawbone, the A2DP only streams to it. Even after I disconnect the Icon. I have to disconnect/reconnect to the car in those circumstances.

made sure you're not currently connected to any other bluetooth devices, then re-pair the phone with the car.
