Q: udatingto 1.5 won't work... not a valid version...

I had to reinstall finalcut server because it couldn't find the java application when we went to http://192.168.1.1/finalcutserver it showed the file not found page. So I reinstalled finalcut server 1 and updating it. Then I try to install the 1.5 updateand it says can't find a valid version of finalcutserver well somthing like that.

Noe I didn't update cause when I do it undoes my networks settings I don't know why but it does, and it makes allother stuff I install not work like some php pdos and other stuff .

What am I doing wrong or what should I do to fix that.

Thanks for helping me

    Digital Rebellion has a free Preference Manager, it will remove ALL of the FCSvr files. Sounds like you tried to do it manually, and missed some of the files.

    No I did use that software to remoove al files but it still doesn't work. and when I install and go to the preference pan to start finalcut server 1 cause I'm not able to do the upgrade it says this;

    The Final Cut Server preference pane needs to repair its permissions.

    Click Repair and enter an administrator's user name and password when prompted. Otherwise click Quit to close System Preferences.

    then when I try to start it once in it says ;

    Final Cut Server could not be started.

    The Final Cut Server launchd files could not be found. Please reinstall Final Cut Server.

    Thanks for your time
