Problem With AVCHD Codec And P2 Codec In Finalcut Stuio 2

Hi Everyone Need Ur Help Please
I Use Panasonic AG-HMC151 EU Camera And This Camera Give Me AVCHD Codec Now I Want To Use Panasonic AG-HPX171 P2 HD/SD,Panasonic AG-HVX201 P2 HD/SD And Panasonic AG-HMC151 EU In Same Time.The Problem I Have The HPX171 And AG-HVX201 Its Not Have The AVCHD Codec Its P2 Camera Does Finalcut Studio 2 Support This P2 Camera ?
i Use Finalcut Studio2
Version Finalcut Pro 6.0.6
Do I Need To Download Any Codec For Finalcut?
And Can Edit AVCHD Codec And P2 Codec In Same Time In Finalcut Studio?

The Panasonic AG-HMC151 EU shoots AVCHD, that gets converted to ProRes (full raster...meaning full sized) when you bring it into FCP. The AG-HPX171 and AG-HVX201 are P2 cameras that shoot DVCPRO HD. And FCP brings those in as DVCPRO HD...no re-wrapping. DVCPRO HD is thin raster, or ANAMORPHIC. So they come in squeezed, and FCP unsqueezes the image.

That is for FCP 6, but a lot of the things you can do are the same.

Do I Need To Download Any Codec For Finalcut?

No. But you will have to install the P2 card drivers onto the computer you intend to offload them with.

And Can Edit AVCHD Codec And P2 Codec In Same Time In Finalcut Studio?

Yes, just use a ProRes sequence.
