I too wrestled with this for many, many days; I had both google DSN servers listed (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) to avoid using Time Warner's, which were slow at home.
I was able to connect to Gogo (and resolve all their various confusing pages, like airborne.gogo... and gogoinflight...) by only removing one of them. I guess having the second slot "open" allows it to connect to gogo's internal DNS to get to the sign-in page.
This happened on Delta to even get to their their free in-flight studio, by the way; not just for the paid, full internet wifi.
I had the same problem, finally got it working on renewing my DHCP. To do this - Open Network preferences, click on the Advanced Button. Click on the TCP/IP tab and click on the Renew DHCP button. At this point, it will refresh the IP and you should be able to type in any website and get redirected to the splash page.
Tried all of the above to no avail but I did eventually solve the problem (for me anyways).
I had entered a fixed DNS (settings/network/advanced/DNS) and upon removing them I was able to login.
Thanks! I was using google DNS. When I removed it, I connected with gogo.
