iPad 2 3G+GPS and Find My iPhone Question

A quick question about using find my iPhone with iPad 2 3G+GPS

Let's say I lose my iPad and I am not paying for/don't have 3g enabled that particular time I lose it, and I use find my iPhone to find it, will it kick the 3G on to find it using GPS? Thanks!

No.
And 3G does not need to be enabled to use GPS.

For the FindMyPhone app or webpage to find an iPad, the iPad much have its #G or wifi connection active. An iPad can find its location by two mean, one is by the GPS circuitry in the 3G model or by using the location of a nearby router that is in Apple's database of locations and which is broadcasting its SSID (if you are not connected to it).
