I have a fair number of assets titled "Untitled.mov" "Untitled_1.mov" from early days when I was not so careful aboutnaming, logging etc. If I change the title of the asset in FCSvr will I loose the link to existing productions & projects?
Yes, you will lose the link. FCSvr depends on the file path and name for linking. It is cumbersome, but you can duplicate each asset and pick a new filename and/or location when you do so.
