no sound on iphone

i got 2 error messages on my ipohne: "chargin is not supported" and "this accessory is not optimized for iphone...." but nothing's plugged in. now when i go to ipod youtube etc. i have no audio, the volume bar disappeared from ipod, youtube, quicktime videos, or ringer. it only plays sound perfeclty when is pluggede in on the pc. plz helo is an emergency i really need that iphone

Welcome to the Apple Discusions Forum.

Have you tried a 'Hard Reset' with your iPhone? You can do this buy holding both the Home and Lock buttons down until the phone restarts.

If this doesn't work you can try to restore the phone in iTunes and starting from scratch.

i just tried to restore it from itunes and now i have a lil problem, i'm going to backup and the last backup i have is from 10 minutes ago(when the iphone was restoring) and i can't get back my apps. i have another backup that sayss only the iphne name but does not have any hour or day of last backup

If you had paid apps, you can still redownload them as your account knows what you have bought and won't tell you to rebuy it. It's either sound or having to redownload your apps. This is why you need to regularly sync apps.

i didnt have too much paid apps and still havin it on my pc. i also changed the iphone's name on march so i can restore my iphone from the march's version. i'll try tnks 4 all. but idk if i still having the same problem

i just restored it and tried a song and now it works. i'm istalling all my stuff and hope it does work
