Okay so, I use skype alot on my iPod Touch, and it's cool, but when I'm doing something else on my iPod like listening to music, someone may call me, I answer it, and Skype crashes! Why is this? Also, whenever I'm in a call / video ca with one of my friends the Wifi connection goes off and then back on, closing the call / video on Skype. These problems are really annoying, any help / suggestions?

Hi,

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

The only suggestion I have is to use Facetime instead of Skype if Skype keeps crashing. Facetime is quite reliable and I have had no problems with it so far.

Thanks!
But, my friends that use skype don't have FaceTime (some use it on their computer -- skype)
So that'd be a problem.

it is maybe because usually to get calls it should not crash but if it does try restoring it or dont listen to music when you get skype calls plus make sure there are not new updates to skype

i will ask your question on the skype forum
