Syncing iPad App folders

I have put all my apps on my iPad 1 in folders. When I synced my iPad 2 the folders disappeared (not in iTunes, thankfully, just on the new iPad). Anyone know how to sync app folders?

The iPad 2 is treated as a different device, so you can arrange the apps in folders differently on each device. You should arrange them on the second iPad and it should be retained.

Note: If you arrange the folders/apps within the iTunes program on the syncing computer, make sure you click "Apply" before you go to another tab.

Unfortunately, there is no setting or any way to guarantee that the folder structure will be maintained when syncing the device. I have read more that a few threads about this issue and if there is a definitive way to fix it, I have not seen it.

I have never had my folder structure destroyed when syncing - but I have only a handful of apps compared to most users - 69 to be exact - and all of my folders still reside on my home.

If you want to send feedback to Apple about this issue - and I suggest that you do since the more users that contact Apple about it - the better the chances of them addressing the issue will be.
