Apps and other stuff=)

I recently bought a MacBook pro and an iPad but when I sync my iPod Touch (I had this about a year) it only syncs the songs to my mac that I bought from iTunes and not CD songs. Also and kind of more importantly (well equal importance really^^) I just realised today that it had not synced any apps from my iPod to my mac and said they are already on my old computer so it has to erase my iPod or something, but I thought you could authenticate up to 5 computers and this MacBook is only my second computer authenticated with my apple ID

If anyone can help then thanks a lot =D

Macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7), I like it ^^

1. You can only transfer iTunes Store purchased tracks from an iPod into iTunes, not will not transfer music you have loaded from CDs. This is to stop people taking iPods to loads of computers and loading them with copies of music illegally. You transfer worked exactly as it was supposed to do. If you want to move the other music from your old computer to your new one then you need to move it from computer to computer via some other method (network or external hard drive copy).

2. You are trying to sync your iPod with a new computer, and therefore it will erase the contents of the iPod and replace them with the contents in iTunes, that is how it is supposed to work. You can download all the Apps again for free on the new computer, you do not get charged. In fact you can download them as many times as you like as long as you are logged into the same iTunes Store account that bought the Apps in the first place.
