Internet radio > Blues > *Daddy-O's Delux: The Shred Shed* requires a Live 365 account & login.
How do you login on the Apple TV?

Mac mini (mid 2010) - 2 GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.6.6), silver mini, blue mini, green shuffle, iTunes 10.1.1, 32GB wifi iPad

You can't. Indeed you can only play iTunes radio on the second gen Apple TV (another feature the Apple TV 1 had 😟 )

If radio can only be played on the 2nd gen, how was it a feature on the 1st gen?

think he mean you can't on atv2

at first the appletv 1g could only play radio if the stations was added to a playlist in itunes
but think they changed it so one could pick the station on the appletv itself

but it sounds like it was removed on the atv2

but even if it's not that it's radio from the itunes Radio only where of cause no login is possible so no matter what you can't play radio from a website which I assume you are trying as otherwise I don't see how the login stuff would come into play

The first Apple TV would play any compatible radio stream that you added to iTunes yourself, the second will only play radio stations that are pre-installed in iTunes.
