Apr 19, 2011 7:37 PM in response to dan froshby khstudio1,Instead of uploading through FCS, what you can do is do a file transfer to your storage location directly through the finder. Once all your assets are transferred, do a "Search Devices" on FCS and pick the same folder you created on your storage. You should now see all those files you just transferred. Highlight all of them and click the 'CATALOG ASSET' button. You will get a similar window to the upload window, but this time it won't have to transfer the files since they are already at thier destination. All it has to do is create thumbnails and proxies. And if you have Qmaster setup on the server, you can take advantage of compressing multiple files at once.
I use this method all the time to save time.
