Setting Safari homepage on iPad

I cannot find a way to do this as you can on Safari Ma.

Mac Pro Intel 6 GIG memory, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

There is no way to do it in Safari on Apple iDevices. I use a browser called Atomic Web that will allow you to do that. Check it out. The browser is a lot faster than Safari also. User uploaded file

There isn't away to set Safari home screen but there is a workaround. Under the make a bookmark icon there is a Add to Home Screen option. Navigate to the URL that you want to make you home scene. Use the Add to Home Screen to save this URL to an icon. Use this icon to startup Safari and it will startup using the URL you picked. You can move this icon to the dock or to the home screen. Place Safari in a folder if you wish to hide it.
