I have a similar problem, except my computer doesn't even recognize my ipod at all, tells me that it malfunctioned and can't be accessed, and this started with the update before 10.2. I know it's not the ipod, because it works fine on my other computer. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything for itunes and the ipod on my main computer but to no avail.
