www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com show different versions of iweb page

Hi,

I've been having ongoing issues using iweb, where published pages are still showing parts of old content. For example I recently removed a html snippet that contained a youtube video, once I upload the new version of the page, a section of the youtube video is still visable at the bottom of the page. Not in the place that it was originally but it's enough for you to see that a video is playing and obviously you can hear it.

I've just noticed that if I visit my page with the www. infront of my domain name it shows the new content as it should be. Is there anyway to make it so users typing the www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com both see the same thing? Does it just take a while to update the other one? Or is it a problem I need to take up with my hosting site?

I've just changed to a new mac but this has been doing it on an older OS. Also I'm using cyberduck to upload.

Thanks for your help in advance 🙂

If you are using Cyberduck to upload, then it is very easy to look at all the files on your server in the first place. Check what files are there and delete the old ones.

What you could do it delete the whole site and then upload it again to ensure that you have all the most up-to-date files and folders on your server.

Also, if published files are not displaying as they should, it is not an iWeb issue any longer. If it is still not working, then you need to contact your host regarding this.
