Folder stuck in Finder sidebar

Under Places in my Finder sidebar, I have a folder that I can not remove from the sidebar. I can click and drag it around but I can only put it back under Places. I can't enter the folder from the sidebar. When I click on it, nothing happens. It doesn't even highlight. When I control-click on it, I only get the option to Open Sidebar Preferences. I don't want to delete it because it's an album folder from my iTunes library.

I have a document stuck in my finder sidebar, and it will not delete using the command/drag approach. I cannot even highlight it without it opening. Nothing is working. Why is such a simple thing taking so much time? Apple is supposed to be intuitive and easy, that is why I paid 3x as much for this MacBook as I could have for a pc. Please help!
