decompile and compile .class and.java

Are there commands for handling these sorts of files? Is there a way to decompile (.class to .java) and compile (.java to .class)?

gr8:)

What if:
There a a folder called A, inside there were three class files called 1,2 and 3 and one folder called B which contained one class file called 4 and a picture called Image.

Could a script recreate that folder somewhere else the exact same way except that the class files now would be java files?
