Managing fonts on Skype

Not sure this is the right place for my question, apologies if it is not. Is there a way to change the fonts on the "messaging" window at the foot of the Skype page? Skype does not give any directions at all. The original font is much too small. I wish I could at least make it bold. Thanks in advance, Bucuo
