Hardware Reverb in Logic...?

I'm wondering if there is a way to get reverb/ effects from a hardware device "into" the Logic environment.....as in, have it be part of a final mix to MP3, AIFF file, etc.....

I have a TC M3000 reverb that I used to use with a mixing board and hard disk recorder.....I use mostly SD in Logic now but some of the TC settings are terrific and I'd like to use them if possible.

I can use the TC to monitor with my Motu interface but you can't actually print the effects.......or is there a way to do that ?

thanks

Thanks MF and Rick for your replies. I tried the I/O format and if I record something [say, talking] it records the voice but no effect ...but its there when I'm recording it..

Theres' activity in the channel monitor....But no effect on playback....What am I missing ??

Rick.......I do have S/PDIF on each Motu [828 MK2] I'm running 2 of them as an aggregate but I'm using the S/PDIF on one into the other so... I have one "In" and one 'out" left....

I don't have a S/PDIF cable handy at present......could I use an optical cable instead ?
What kind of internal settings do you need ?
thanks

Hi,

1.- physically plug in the inputs and the outputs to your audio interface.
2.- Create a new auxiliary in your session with outputs going to your hardware.
3.- instantiate a Send in the track you want to effect with your harware reverb.
4.- Make that Send feed the Aux from step 2.
5.- If recording the resulting effect, create an Audio track with the inputs where the hardware is hooked up to your audio interface, and record enable the track.
6.- Otherwise, create another Aux track, with the audio interfaces' inputs set to where your reverbs' ouptuts are hooked up to the interface.

Flow chart:

Ld Vocal track, with Send 1
\/
Send 1 feeds Aux 1
\/
Aux 1 goes to outputs 3-4
\/
Audio interface outputs 3-4 plugged into your stereo reverb inputs.
\/
HARWARE REVERB inputs

HARWARE REVERB outputs
\/
Audio interface inputs 3-4
\/
Aux 2 with inputs set to 3-4 (or audio track the same, but record enabled.)

Done.

You also have to Send level from your lead vocal track... not just have the Send at -inf...

With this configuration allows you to send ANY audio track etc to this hardware reverb, and when you do a final mixdown, you can print the effect onto an audio track by simply creating new audio track(s) and recording the effect for archiving.

Cheers
