Applescript opening Ableton Live file

Hi everyone!

I'm new to Applescript so hopefully someone can help me. I have an Applescript I'm using that is to open an Ableton Live file from the desktop. The thing is the code works fine once but when I try to use it again it gives me and error saying "Connection Is Invalid", followed by "Live quit unexpectedly".

My Applescript code is

tell application "Live"

open "Users:david:Desktop:Audiolise Live Test 001.asd"

end tell

The .asd file is on the desktop. Would appreciate any help I can get!

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

That's great thanks. Turned out to be my copy of Ableton but got it working on another computer. Another quick question if you don't mind. I've got the file open in Ableton and am looking to write a script that saves the file in the same folder that it's in. Code I'm working with has been modified from code that someone used with Photoshop.

tell application "Live"

tell theDocument

save

end tell

end tell
