Computer Screen on TV?

It looks like the answer to this question may be no, but is there any way to use Apple TV to display your computer screen on your TV? If not, this would be a great addition, as most of the other functionality of this product is available on your standard DVD player these days.

    Yes you are correct you cannot do this. You need an appropriate cable to mirror your desktop to a TV set.

    Most, but not all and I much prefer the UI on ATV to anything else i've seen. This device is not meant to mirror your computer screen, grab a Mac Mini if you want that functionality.
