in '11 they are in the info pane - select a photo and click on info in the toolbar to open that window
I am trying to organize my photos and attach keywords. I cannot figure out how to do this. I see no "info button", and no keyword box under the photos. (I've not done this in a while).
HOW CAN I ORGANIZE MY PHOTOS?
HELP! I have iPhoto 11 with 10.8.4
There are tutorials on the Apple site. The info button is the one marked 'i' and the Help is under the word Help on the menu bar.
I must be really stupid. I only have an "down arrow" on the bottom right hand side of the photo. No "i". There's a flag on the top left hand corner.
Look at the window not the photo.
Ok. So I have to click on each individual photo, go to the bottom of the screen, to the "i" and then add the keyword. Not nearly as easy as it used to be! And, the keywords don't appear under the photo anymore! GRRR. I am not a fan!
No, you don't. While viewing a group of photos type Command+K to bring up the Keyword pane. It can be moved to the side of the iPhoto window so you can view the thumbnails more easily.
When you select a photo all current keywords assigned to that photo will display in blue. to remove a keyword click on the blue keyword you want to remove. Conversly to add a keyword click on it.
If you have more than one photo selected
OT
So I have to click on each individual photo, go to the bottom of the screen, to the "i" and then add the keyword.
No you don't. In thumbnail view click on the info button. Now selec a pic. Tap the space bar. Next pic? Tap the right arrow on your keyboard etc
