MBA 13" screen shutting off while watching video

Hey everyone,

After the supplemental update for the MBA, I started noticing that when I'm watching a video on quicktime or iTunes in full screen, the screen will still shut off as per the time I have under the Energy Savers setting whether it is plugged in or not. If I do cmd + F to make the video full screen, it often doesn't have this problem, but if I actually click the full screen arrows to make it go full screen, or if I pause/play or fast forward/back with the mouse, the problem occurs. I've already reset the PRAM, but still having this weird issue.

If anyone has any input on this, or if any fellow MBA users are experiencing this issue, or not, please let me know. I could really use the input. Thanks everyone

Hey Roger,

Thanks for the input. I did double check the energy savings, and it doesn't look like that really is causing any issues. I actually tested this out on another computer, and if I have the computer disconnected from a power supply, and keep the energy savings settings default, the screen will turn off at 2 minutes, even though video is running. I don't remember this happening before, and it doesn't make sense for the screen to shut off while video is running. Was wondering if anyone can try this out and let me know if they have something similar happening (I've tried music videos, podcasts, and TV shows on itunes)

Thanks
