Motion 4.0.3 crashes when opening or starting new project

Hello,

This problem has been bugging me for weeks, and I haven't been able to fix it. Whenever I open or start a new Motion project, the program will crash to desktop. I reformatted my hard drive and installed a clean copy of Final Cut Studio, but I still can't open Motion.
