I received certification in FCP 11 days ago. I cannot log in to the certification records. The message I keep receiving is:
For security reasons, this site requires you to use an Apple ID associated with your business account. If you do not have a business Apple ID, please create a new account.

Note: personal Apple ID accounts used for the iTunes Store or ending in @mac.com or @me.com cannot be used.

Never had a problem logging into anything before. I am not using my ID associated with Itunes either. I created a new Apple ID to no avail. I've emailed for help, called and talked to 4 people at Apple who either could not help or said the only way to find an answer is online. I even went to the Apple Store, the genius bar fixed my "kernel panics" and my failing mouse, but had no idea what was going on with this. Anybody know how these can be accessed? I have my Apple Cert ID and activation code but cannot even access the screen to do so. I have also read the User Guide which does not help.

    Wait a second... are you all saying Apple is still making a buck certifying people for an application they killed off?

    I went down to an Apple store to get a cover for my iPad. They wanted $50!!!! for a cheap plastic thing that probably cost 50 cents to make.

    I posted earlier as AArias_03 you’ll understand why my name changed….. Bear with me...


      I got it to work. Short and sweet? Keep trying emails till they work. But for what it's worth, I don't know how much help it's going to be. Also I have to be fair before the Apple Gods get me. Earlier, I was referring to the same "problem” but not with the same cert. (I’m ACST certified). The problem is that it wouldn't accept any email I put in. It would act like my password didn't work, I would change the password, and it would give me some error that I used this password already... Etc... Etc...Etc... I was starting to feel like one of my senile clients. It wouldn't accept my business email (i.e. me@mycorperation.com /exchange) or and one of my Gmail, yahoo or Hotmail accounts.


         I actually got it to accept another one of my exchange accounts (yes, I have quite a few). Somehow in apples weird way my two exchange accounts and my yahoo are all getting the same notifications (welcome to apple blah blah blah and the sort).


         It has already asked me to create a name I would be known by and this name CANNOT change… They have asked me this twice now and it didn’t let me use the one I had just made.


    So this is it. I’m tired and I hoped I helped.
