Is there a user's guide (PDF) for IPhoto '11 like Apple provides for a lot of it's software? I couldn't find one on the web page anywhere. Thanks!

No. Give the Help file a look at. It's got a lot of excellent tips. There are 3rd party books on iPhoto like The Missing Manual: David Pogue.

Some of it is online here: iPhoto '09: The Missing Manual: Safari Books Online where you can see the index and some chapters.
