iPod malfunction

iPod malfunction

I try syncing my iPod touch to my PC to sync the music but it says that the device has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. It was fine the first day igot it but now the PC doesn't recognize. I tried syncing to my othe PC but that one recognizes it as a camera so it won't appear in iTunes. Help?

Hi,

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

Try resetting your iPod: Press and hold the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Thank you but I have tried it multiple times. It will not work. My cousin who specializes in this, told me that I haveto bring it to the Apple store to have it fixed. I'm not sure if there is any other way.
