App Store on iPad won't show all items

Since last night, i haven't been able to browse for more than one page of apps in the UK App Store on my iPad2.

Let's say, i search for "Apple" via the search field, it then shows me two groups, one for iPad and one for iPhone/iPod.
If i then press "View all" on either of the two groups, i see the first 12 apps, but even there might be +100 apps, i am not able to scroll on the arrows - they are grey, like there ain't no more apps.

If i then change the search fields from "iPad only" to "All", all app-icons disappear, the arrows becomes white - but still not responding.

Another scenario:
From the front page of App Store, I go to Featured and select "What's hot" - everything works fine, i can browse pages of apps, without any problem.

If i then go to "Top Charts", scroll down and tap "Show more", i get the next 10 items to see as well, but the "Show more" is grey with a spinning wheel, seeming like it is loading, but nothing more happens.

I have tried to restart the device, warm and cold to no avail, sync'ed etc, and would really like to avoid restoring my iPad.

Any of you others, who've seen this behavior?

Noticed today I am having same issue. Not showing loaded apps while browsing app store, cannot rate loaded apps but can rate apps not loaded. Cannot write review. upgraded to 4.3.2 and did not fix.

Feel a little better knowing others having similar issues as I thought my iPad 2 was on the fritz...

Have had the same issue since 4/14/11 with one exception that when I try to go to the next page the arrows are just not lit up by the second page and the icons for the apps are missing but the descriptions are there. Also updated operating system this morning with not change.

I have had two new ipad 2 32gb arrive today - one can browse the store fine, the other has the issue where the 'show more' icon remains grey with a spinning icon...

Not happy! Interestingly, the one which cannot browse is the one I have installed a couple of apps on.

I've found that a lot of the buttons on the info page for apps I have installed don't work: rate stars, write a review, all/current version, sort by helpful/recent/etc. For apps I don't have installed all those work fine.

The store seems to be having issue when displaying page (lists/info) for apps I own. I can still check for updates and download apps, but pages are acting screwy.

I also said I could rate/review apps I didn't own. Well I can, but I get an error telling me I don't own the app (which is normal). So I can't really even though the review window pops up, which is more than I get for apps I have installed.

Good points - I've found if I remove any apps which appear in the lists, then the 'show more' buttons work as expected.

I recently redeemed an iTunes gift card and now have an App Store balance of $25.

Do the other people posting to this thread also have an App Store balance other than zero?

...wondering if this is the commonality.

I also have a gift card balance. The app store does not show my installed apps correctly and the 'show more' button just spins (greyed out.

This started yesterday.

Me too! Had the same problem since Thursday - click on show more in the App Store and you can get up to 20 Apps, then the show more button, greys out & freezes. Hopefully a server issue...

Still no word from Apple and not that many people are complaining about it. There's a few threads here and a few in other forums, but not a lot of posts.

I've two problems since yesterday. I choosed "update all" (4 Apps), than started the first update (World of goo) but it stopped in state "Installation" (about 1hour), i've restarted iPad and the Updates continued.
I think since this time,, ALL installed apps marked as "not installed" in the store.
I downloaded a installed app again, the result was the settings in the app lost.
Today i bought a new app, started the app and closed , but even this app marked "with price" (like not downloaded/installed) at the Store.

the second issue: i can only click once time "show more" (Apps) at store, after the first touch the "show more" field is gray and i can't choose it again....

Os 4.3.1

I too have the exact same issue with the search function on my ipad 2. It started yesterday I think or day before. I started thinking it was a specific app I downloaded. I came to this conclusion because if I restored to factory settings with no user downloaded apps on the device, the app store search function works fine. Once I restored all apps to the device it did not work again. I called apple and the support person I spoke with did not mention any server issue and told me to start uninstalling apps one by one and see if a specific app could have caused it. I too have a $25 store balance on account. With more than 150 apps this will frustrate me to no end if I need to uninstall single apps to see if one causes this. Hope this gets figured out soon!
