Charging an iPod with a display
"All current iPod with display models come with a USB to Dock Connector cable that allows you to charge your iPod when it's plugged into your computer. You can also get the optional USB Power Adapter, which enables you to charge your iPod battery through an electrical outlet (some older iPods, such as iPod mini, came with a USB or FireWire Power Adapter). Here's how to charge your iPod battery using both methods."
