Cant I watch movie trailers anymore?

I mainly like to use my computer for going to the Quicktime site and watching movie trailers...but lately they wont play and I am directed to upgrade to Quicktime 7 ...but I cannot do that because I only have OSX 10.2.8....does this mean I cant watch trailers anymore?

Most if not all the Apple movie trailers are using QT 7 but there are still some trailers being made with the older Sorenson3 codec. Try visiting the official site of a given movie to see it one is available there.

I have Tiger, an iBook G3, and the newest QuickTime and I can't play trailers either. They load and I can hear the sound perfectly, but the actual trailer doesn't play. It gets "stuck" on the first image (usually the film company's logo or the MPAA rating card) and stays there for the duration of the trailer.

Any suggestions?

Your iBook G3 may be too underpowered to view many of the trailers.
Avoid anything that says "HD" because your graphics card can't keep up.
Stick with the "small" size when viewing trailers (even if you have a high speed connection).
Let the file completely download before attempting playback. Set it back to the beginning of the file (if needed) and try the playback again.

Thanks! That worked for a few of the trailers.

Can I even update a graphics card or is that something that isn't practical?
