iPod Linux

After installing iPod Linux on the ipod, is it possible to resore the origional ipod operating system using the ipod updater?

Toshiba Equium A60, Windows XP

Please note that installing iPod Linux may void your warranty.

But will my warrenty still be void if i restore the ipod to it's factory settings?

I'm not even entirely sure that it does void the warranty. But some people have mentioned that it might.

If you restore it back to Apple's settings, then you'll have no problem.

However, if the iPod feels the need to die while Linux is installed on it, and you can't restore it, you may be up a creek.
