Installing X11 for Tiger 10.4.3

After using X11 for many years in my G3 computer, I wanted to install X11 again on my new G4.
Some browsing on the Internet revealed that it is available as addition software on the tiger installation DVD’s under "optional software".
The problem now is that there is no item "optional software" on the tiger DVD’s I received with my mini Mac. There is no X11user package available on the DVD’s. (The X11Sdk package is yes on the DVD).
Downloading the X11-version from apple downloads only resulted in an "incorrect version".
Some help would be appreciated in finding the X11User package.

Sincerely.

Then perhaps it's only available on the retail Tiger DVD. It's not available as a separate download as far as I can tell. All the info I find says to install it from the Tiger DVD. Try contacting a local Apple retailer about it. It's supposed to be part of the Tiger distribution unless Apple does not make it part of the bundled software that comes with the Mini.

It has all the earmarks; Apple seems to sell Tiger versions without the X11 software. The only problem is that there download site tells: "Note 10.4 customers can install X11 by using the Tiger DVD installer disk."
It al so seems that Apple should replace the word "can" with "must"; since there seems to be no other way of installing X11.
