How do I create a continuous dj mix in itunes?

I have several dj mixes that I have uploaded into itunes. When I play these mixes, itunes creates a pause in between the tracks even when I set the crossfade to 0 seconds. This is very annoying, especially when I am in the groove of a good mix and there is a clip, a brief interruption, and then the mix continues. Is there any way around this so I can hear a seemless transition between two tracks?

Thanks for reading,

Hi DJ TC

I have exactly the same problem, but with me it's putting albums like Floyd's "Dark Side" onto my Pod and hearing the pause between tracks.

About the only way I've found around this is to rip the audio files to .wav and then edit them together into one seamless track, then upload the single track to your Pod.

Of course now you can't jump from track to track, as it were, but you can hear a seamless mix.

I've seen a number of people ask the same question and there doesn't seem to be an answer right now. But if you look at Apple's business model, it's all about buying individual tracks from the Store, but maybe they'll come up with a fix sometime and save all that work!

Good luck
Paul

P.S. If anyone else out there has an answer please let us know!!!
