Forum Going Very Slow Since Update

Ever since they moved to the new system, this forum has gone a lot slower. Are there any plans for fixing this to make it go faster?

iBook 1GHz, 768 MB RAM, 30 GB HD Mac OS X (10.4.3) Black 5G iPod 30 GB

Although I am a newbie at this forum, I have noticed that it does run slightly slower than most other websites. Oh well, I suppose that they're doing their best.
