Error message after restarting computer - Smartsound Quicktracks plugin.msi

Installed Ipod nano software OK and restarted computer. During installation message came up that route to SmartSound Quicktracks plugin.msi couldn't be found on c drive (message read - the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable - click OK to try again or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package).
I've updated quicktime from Apple website and have tried selecting the ipod CD as opposed to c drive to see if the installer can pick up the file but with no success.
Ipod nano is working OK but everytime I turn computer my computer on this message now comes up on screen.
